The Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3 (VTQ) qualification covers more details about different illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. The course has been designed to give pet owners or pet professionals more information to detect early signs of symptoms for providing care, especially when environmental or geographical locations prevent the pet owner from contacting a qualified veterinarian in time.

The course covers the anatomy and physiology of animals and will provide coverage on different first aid treatment that are available to Petts. This ideal course also includes a dedicated section for cats.

We offer this course as a blended learning option meaning the learner will need to complete the online module (6 hours) followed by a practical module (approximately 6 hours) with our instructors. This allows the learner to be hands-on with practical elements and gain the full qualification.
