Emergency First Aid at Work-F for Forestry Level 3 – Blended
The Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 course (EFAW-F) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that there is no requirement for a fully trained first aider for their workplace.
This version of the EFAW course includes the additional subjects required by the Forestry Commission. Additional subjects covered include:
- severe cuts like chainsaws,
- crush injuries,
- Hypothermia
- Lyme Disease
In order to comply with the latest HSE and ERC guidelines, we also include Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings.
In May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer-based blended training is now allowed for all workplace first aid courses. You now have the option to complete your Emergency First Aid at Work course as a blended course, with 3 hours of online training followed by 4 hours in the classroom. Our blended training allows you to learn the theory at your pace, one to one with your instructor at a time that suits you.
To renew this course you need to attend another EFAW 6 hour course or blended course where the course is completed online and in the classroom.
Students must be a minimum age is 14 years old.
This qualification can be delivered in our Eastbourne, East Sussex classroom or at your organisation across the UK.
