Emergency First Aid at Work F for Forestry Level 3 (VTQ)
With this course you can learn the Essentials of First Aid for carrying out forestry, and prepare yourself to deal with First Aid Emergencies.
The Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 course (EFAW-F) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that there is no requirement for a fully trained first aider for their workplace. All our courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.
This version of the EFAW course includes the additional subjects required by the Forestry Commission. Additional subjects covered include severe cuts like chainsaws, crush injuries, Hypothermia and Lyme Disease. In order to comply with the latest HSE and ERC guidelines, we also include Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements. Lily Dean Training offer ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) which are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
You now have the option to complete the Emergency First Aid at Work course as a blended course, with 2 hours of online training followed by 4 hours in the classroom. Our blended training allows you to learn the theory at your pace, one to one with your instructor at a time that suits you.
This blended EFAW course meets all of the requirements of the HSE and Awarding Organisations. This qualification is accepted in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is also accepted in many other countries.
Students must be a minimum age is 14 years old.
Candidates completing our EFAW-F courses receive access to our video library for refreshing skills and reference.
The HSE and Forestry Commission, strongly recommend that all first aiders complete an annual first aid refresher course and our online course meets this requirement.
To renew you need to attend another EFAW-F 7-hour course or the blended version of the course.

Each course come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
