Emergency First Aid at Work F for Forestry Level 3
With this course you can learn the Essentials of First Aid for carrying out forestry, and prepare yourself to deal with First Aid Emergencies.
The Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 course (EFAW-F) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that there is no requirement for a fully trained first aider for their workplace.
This version of the EFAW course includes the additional subjects required by the Forestry Commission. Additional subjects covered include severe cuts like chainsaws, crush injuries, Hypothermia and Lyme Disease. In order to comply with the latest HSE and ERC guidelines, we also include Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings.
You now have the option to complete the Emergency First Aid at Work course as a blended course, with 2 hours of online training followed by 4 hours in the classroom. Our blended training allows you to learn the theory at your pace, one to one with your instructor at a time that suits you.
This blended EFAW course meets all of the requirements of the HSE and Awarding Organisations. This qualification is accepted in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is also accepted in many other countries.
Students must be a minimum age is 14 years old.
Candidates completing our EFAW-F courses receive access to our video library for refreshing skills and reference.
The HSE and Forestry Commission, strongly recommend that all first aiders complete an annual first aid refresher course and our online course meets this requirement.
To renew you need to attend another EFAW-F 7-hour course or the blended version of the course.
