First Aid for Schools Level 2 (VTQ)
Simple but thorough First Aid aimed at staff in schools who may need to administer Paediatric First Aid to their students.
This first aid for schools course is designed to be used for inset training days and is ideal for schools who need or would like to give their staff a basic understanding. The course looks to develop a persons skills of life support for conditions they may encounter whilst caring for and looking after children.
Some of the subjects included in this course are:
- role and responsibility
- managing an emergency situation
- casualty care
- asthma
- allergies
- choking
- head injuries
- primary and secondary care skills
This qualification is ideal for teachers, social workers, teaching assistants and club leaders or anyone who needs basic training.
All our first aid courses include first aid content that meets the latest UK & European Resuscitation Council Guidelines and the HSE requirements for correct first aid content and practice.
Upon achieving this qualification, all successful students will be awarded a certificate that includes adult, child and infant skills and confirmation that it has been delivered in accordance with currently accepted first-aid practice.
The content of all the courses we offer through ProTrainings UK has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines. Each course come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
