Paediatric 1 day First Aid for Nannies & Au Pairs L3 (VTQ)
The requirements for Nannies and Au Pairs depend on whether registration is required. If you choose to register, in most cases people working with children including Nannies, Au Pairs, Childminders, Nursery Workers and Childcare Workers still need the 2 days 12-hour course to meet the requirements. If you are looking at also entering other childcare sectors, then the full 2 days or our blended paediatric course would be best.
The Childcare Register Regulations require the childminder or home child care to have an appropriate first aid qualification. However, it is for the provider to determine whether these minimum standards are appropriate for the type of care they provide and whether more advanced training or qualification is required.
This one day course is for Nannies and Au Pairs who do not need to register. This 6 contact hour course can be taken as a classroom course and is also ideal as an annual refresher for any paediatric first aid course.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements. Lily Dean Training offer ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) which are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
The content of all the courses we offer through ProTrainings UK has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines. Each course come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
This qualification can be delivered in our Eastbourne, East Sussex classroom, at your organisation across the UK or in our 100% virtual Classroom.
