This course is aimed at people who work with outdoor working dogs. It is ideal for dog owners or dog professionals. This qualification will cover lifesaving and preventative skills on providing first aid to your dog in any condition including rough terrains, hills and mountain environments.

Understanding basic first aid for your dog will give you the skills and confidence to assist them and potentially save their life. The skills you can acquire from this qualification can help prevent your dog from getting worse before your vet provides professional help.

The certificate is valid for 3 years and if you would like to progress your skills you could consider moving on to our Advanced Pet First Aid course.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as an Evidence Based Learning statement.
